Heather: Congratulations to Callum. I'm sure you are very proud of him. That career should remain stable and pay well, so he has a bright future. Well done to him.
Annette: Yup. I screeched like an angry owl. LOL!
Good evening, all. I finally got around to posting some photos I got from Felixstowe Ferry on Wednesday - click on this beautiful young gull to see some more:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Nobody around late evening/overnight? Hope everyone is okay! BBL.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Morning OG and all
It's flipping cold here again and I was worried about Callum last night. He was driving up from Milton Keynes. He eventually arrived home at 2am. It was just the road conditions that concerned me, not his driving.
Good Morning, All. Dry here but my, it was cold yesterday!
Good that Callum travelled safely, Heather. It is worrying these days, with so much traffic on the roads.
Our Eldest arrived OK last night and gobbled down a huge plate of beef stew and veg, before going to bed early.
Today's pic:
Just the sort of food for this weather, LINDY. Makes me feel warmer just thinking about it! I have awful job getting this house really warm. Heating came on at 0630 and downstairs hall is only 16°. Kitchen is freezing cold - worse since granite workshops were installed. Now, what else can I moan about?!!!
LOL, Heather! -- it's warm vests on weather!
Ha ha- the Scandinavian saying is 'There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes'. I put socks on last night and an old cardi over my pyjamas! In the olden days it might have been bedsocks and a bed jacket.....
