Welcome to a new week from a sunny spring afternoon in Adelaide.
Good Morning, and thanks for starting us off, AQ!
Dry here. It felt a bit Autumnal last night, things are changing here and some leaves are turning colour
Here's today's pic:
We are having soup for tea (Asian style chicken, zucchini, noodle). It’s getting a bit warm for soup! 28 yesterday. 27 today. However possible shower and 19 tomorrow. I’m planning an escape to city library for research.
Good morning - thanks AQ!
A cool morning here in Inverness. I love the blue butterflies, LINDY. There was a programme on the radio this morning, all about Red Admirals.
We enjoyed our curry last night, just one moment of drama when Katie knocked over her can of cola! She was in the sitting room at the time and the cream coloured rug received most of the liquid....
I'm hoping to attack the grapevine today, didn't get around to it yesterday and it is preying on my mind.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Just spotted your post, AQ. I like the sound of that soup. Stay cool.
Hope you can cope with the grapevine alright, Heather.
I wish we had one.
EDIT - Hope you got all that cola out of the rug.....
AQ Thanks for starting a new week.
HEATHER Glad you had a good curry evening.
We are off to "Table Manors" for lunch and Eden Court this evening to see a "Carpenters" tribute.
Happy birthday, DIBNLIB x
Ooh, yes!! Finally, I can say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Dibnlib - enjoy your outings.
The Carpenters were the soundtrack to our courtship, all those years ago, and "Close to You" became Our Song. :-)
We are off out on a walk, after my OH has climbed on a chair and changed some light bulbs.
Yes, LINDY the rug is OK. It was the first thing I looked at when I went downstairs this morning! I c an reach the vine OK using the small stepladder. I really want to do everything I can and not rely on family for what I can do myself but have say that with every passing year, standing on a chair etc and reaching up gets more scary!!!
