HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
When I was young, I spent a lot of time on the Gulf coast of Florida. My then-husband had family there. I so loved watching the Gulf wildlife. Tonight, the area where I explored the wild is under a mandatory evacuation order. It's expected to be hit hard by the massive Hurricane Irma. (For perspective: Irma is bigger than France.) My thoughts are with the people and the wildlife throughout the southeast U.S.

Thanks, Heather. Will be taking lots of pics!
Hello all
Rainy here today so pottering about indoors.
It's quiet on here, we will miss LINDY and ANNETTE, when she leaves for the UK in a few days time.
DIANE/ANNETTE thank you for the link.
Current weather is a rough cycle of rain at night and sun by day - this morning was well dry, but rain a bit early this afternoon. J was out in afternoon, OH is out this evening, but we all met up for tea - reminded OH as he went to remember he has eaten already, as there will be refreshments at the concert! Border Reel and Strathspey Society playing for funds for churches around Gretna.
Usual things happening through the day, so nothing remarkable. Blood test yesterday couldn't happen - wasted time getting ready and going then was told receptionist had given me a late appointment, after the blood wagon had left for the lab - not pleased at waste of our time, but accepted replacement appointment Monday morning - would have been our only free day in the coming week.
Watched the space video - thanks ANNETTE.
Hope LINDA managed to carry all the shoes on board from the distant car park!
Hoping to go to church tomorrow if weather obeys latest forecast!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Sorry, OG that your free Monday has been used up. What a pest.
Brilliant space video. Thanks Annette and Diane.
What a pain about your blood test that didn't happen, OG. I hope you can go to church tomorrow. Weather mixed here as well. Sunshine one minute, then pouring with rain. The wind has dropped, though,
Yes, I hope all the shoes arrived without incident. I expect one of the pairs is already being put to good use.
