I'll let some of my favorite cartoon characters transition us from summer to autumn and into the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
As the 2017 osprey Season closes at Loch Garten, I am wishing for a better one come 2018.
Good afternoon all. June thanks for posting the excellent news and hope they return next year!!
On Friday we had to take our beloved boy to the vets to be put to sleep. His breathing became difficult and his pulse was weak. So we did the last thing we could do for him. We are heart broken
Oh Willow, so sorry to hear your sad news. It is heartbreaking when you loose a much loved member of the family, they leave such a big hole in your life. He's at peace now. My thoughts are with you.
So sorry to read about your beloved boy. Been there ourselves, it is such a horrid and sad thing to have to do, but you remember all the lovely times you had with him and keep all your beautiful memories to help you get over the loss. Time is a healer and although you never forget them, it is easier to cope with and you will feel better.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Willow, So sorry to hear about your sweet pet--we know how it feels to lose one.
Kind regards, Ann
I am so sorry to hear you have lost a loving pet and companion, Willow. It is such a sad time for you.

Thankyou for all your kind thoughts. We have another cat a Siberian Forest cat who was an unwanted pet. He appears to be looking for him which is heart breaking.
The other one who was put to sleep left a perfectly good home and was missing 6 months before he chose to live with us! His previous owners were distraught at being dumped by him!!
Many people go through this horror every day but nothing can prepare you for the huge loss.
Thinking of you at this sad time Willow, appreciate how hard it is to lose a cat, my old boy is 17 now & it will come to me too!
Very interesting to read about your Siberian Forest cat, new breed to me so I googled it! Of course, I want one! Lol

Good morning all.Thankyou Wendy for you kind thoughts. I'd also never heard of Siberian Forest cats either. His name is Farley previous name Musrafy Kuzma! He was a stud and born on Moscow. He's a father of many!! He's very beautiful and huge.
Thanks for the info Willow, how did you come to own him?
Hello Wendy. My OH saw him advertised in a newsagent window and said he didn't get on with her dogs so decided to rehome him. Previously he was a breeding stud owned by a breeder and was brought over from Russia. When his breeding days were over she sold him off as a pet! He was one of the original breeding boys for her cat stud!! Musrafy Siberians. He's a real gent!
