HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
I've chosen a deer picture this week, because a doe white-tailed deer and her twins have been visiting my house every night at dusk to eat my weeds. :-) The little male is very feisty and bold. His daddy is the impressive old buck who often sleeps in the brush by my garage. Everyone here is eagerly awaiting the Total Solar Eclipse. At my house, the eclipse will be 93% total. I'm not going south to the path of totality. Best wishes to everyone!

The sandwich lived up to expectations - with salad, of course!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Of course, OG!
OG Glad the wheelchair is suitable.
We spent about 3 hours at the golf in Nairn today. Those boy amateurs are so good. We then had a good lunch at the Golf View in Nairn, so a good day all round.
I wrote a post after lunch, but it wouldn't post. Will have to remember now, what I said at the time!
It seems to be working, now. Sounds like a nice day for you both, dibnlib.
Good Morning, All. I'm up early, to get ready for our guests this week.
Annette, nice to come on to a cheery pic of MsD and friend. And of course, I love the shoes!! (Very touched that the poem is still on display)
Here's today's pic: (one for horse lovers)
Unknown said:Who is Keith when he's at home? :-)
The eldest son of Sir Lancelot Stirling, who else!!! The father was an important SA grazier & politician. More about Keith the town here - even a pic of the church/museum.
Goodness, what long legs your beanstalk has.
I've had a busy afternoon while OH is on nanny duty. Sparkling bathroom and a small patch of weeding. Latter done with care, not to remove bulbs valiantly trying to outgrow weeds. I had to strike while the iron was hot, or rather, while the nasty clay soil was soft after rain. We've had a very welcome 17 mm the past 2 days.
Mixed weather day but more good than bad so far.
Annette – cheese sandwich was cheese between two slices of real bread – I don’t like toasted cheese – baked potato also has to have freshly grated cheese for me, although I do eat cooked cheese sauce dishes! Hope you find some small gardening tools for Miss D – I expect they will soon return to the shops as potential Christmas presents! Lovely photo of the young lady in question – so tall and looks much older than her years! Nice dog too.
Linda – well done with the early getting up and preparations! I was slow this morning and only just had my shower.
(Pause to stir the korma for mid-day dinner!) Main meal is now because 1) I don’t eat curry later in the day 2) Chiropodist is coming very late afternoon when we would normally be making our dinner. As you can see, I am gradually doing more in the kitchen – mostly involving stirring things on the hob!
AQ – glad you could get outside for some gardening, very impressive that it was after some indoor cleaning!
Now another stir and then the korma will be ready – and we are all here for it – J went out for breakfast on his last day as a “free man”!
