I had just enjoyed a few hours at Loch Garten - but I had been told so much about the wonderful viewing from the shore of Loch Insh that I had to check it out before heading south. The reports weren't exaggerated:

Took my mending knee surgery along the path to the nest today. Ospreys still around but hanging out on the other side of the island. Will go back tomorrow morning to see if I can capture them on camera...as long as it is dry and not too slippy. Thanks for your lovely captures Clare
