"Twiggy." is cementing his relationship with CT6 with "fish 'n sticks", but after early morning appearances we were bereft all day and left to waste our energies with speculation and to agonise over absent friends.
Sparrowkin kindly responded re the late evening intruder incident on 14 July:

This morning the Pine Marten appeared briefly, not venturing nearer than the far edge tho. I wonder how many times I've missed it while scooting thru catchup? (I've since double-checked the night and couldn't find any earlier visit.)
Video to follow, need to work on the blasted interference to try to reveal mysterious vocals.
The mysterious noises came from elsewhere, but there is knocking after he disappears:

This is now - it seems to have been a very still night.
IMAGICAT
No, nothing when he moved away from the edge.
(I'm in severe tech troubles with this laptop seizing up, will have to reboot in a minute.)
Both gone.
Off she goes, and he follows
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
LOL so the paint dried and I missed the action! ENS currently.

The buffering/freezing is really bad this evening. :o((
I'm off now. Night all.
G'night MOFFER. I shan't be long (again).
What with all the tech traumas I forgot about a vid for only the second osprey sighting of the day.
Only a tiny snip of skydance on the front, heavily edited - he spent a lot of time just mantling and she spent a lot of time doing nothing except being disappointed.

BirdieNumNum said she'd be out late on Friday, not that she'd be absent today. I hope you're OK, BIRDIE! :-*
NIGHTCAM 2216hr
Goodnight :)
Thank you Scylla. They are quite an interesting pair. Bonded, but yet bonding. He is still mantling when he arrives, and she is, well, hopeful. She lowered her head and neck as he arrived, almost expecting him to land on her. He slowly siddled up to stand beside her, but thought better of it and ended back where he started on our side of the nest only to repeat the process, with more mantling and wide spread wing flapping. Is he trying to impress. When she took off he was in hot pursuit. I am sorry to say I don't find them an attractive looking pair, but I hope I warm to them a bit more before they depart. Characters?
Definitely!
Oh dear, the next vid up after Scylla's latest one was EJ's first night without her chicks..22 May, when I was away. I haven't seen it before. So very very sad.
Night cam is already on. See you all anon.
Goodnight Birdie, you weren't there when I was looking at the vids and posting.
Goodnight Scylla!
