I am doing the introduction in haste since I am on the run, so please help to follow up on whatever I am missing.
The last we saw of EJ was defending the nest against at least one of two osprey who were around. One landed on the nest, looked unringed (conjectured to be possibly PU), but also another unseen osprey that raised EJ's hackles to another level. [video from scylla] Most likely that was a female. No one was ID'd and we are left to guessing. We (via Mike the Bloke) received an "inside report" that an unringed male and Blue Ringed female were about earlier, chased off by EJ. Could this be the same couple?
Regardless of the unresolved nature of this conundrum, at least we caught great views of EJ on a very drippy miserable day. Maybe Catlady will b ring some light upon the subject and the day tomorrow during her visit!

I'm sure it's just because our dear girl is very wet :)
She's flown:

She's back with tiny peeps.
It's the back of her head that confused me earlier - so white!
She's back. Very antsy, looking for someone.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
Now looking out at the back of the nest, top-right corner kinda.

Poor thing, she looks very expectant. "Who me?"© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
Had a brief preen.
"Someday my prince will come..."
First landing, mild defences (apart from the squeals), departure (interrupted by a browser refresh):
