I am doing the introduction in haste since I am on the run, so please help to follow up on whatever I am missing.
The last we saw of EJ was defending the nest against at least one of two osprey who were around. One landed on the nest, looked unringed (conjectured to be possibly PU), but also another unseen osprey that raised EJ's hackles to another level. [video from scylla] Most likely that was a female. No one was ID'd and we are left to guessing. We (via Mike the Bloke) received an "inside report" that an unringed male and Blue Ringed female were about earlier, chased off by EJ. Could this be the same couple?
Regardless of the unresolved nature of this conundrum, at least we caught great views of EJ on a very drippy miserable day. Maybe Catlady will b ring some light upon the subject and the day tomorrow during her visit!

Thank you for making time for the new DU, CC :-*
You've done fine (edit - as you always do!) - I have it on good authority that, historically, starting a new DU was just a matter of the thread title and a "this is the new DU for this day/date" post, but between us we've made it a more laborious task.
If PU (or another unringed male) is partnered up with CT6 (or another blue-ringed female), I do wish that FC8 would return pronto with his act thoroughly got together (meaning, with a fish!).
I thought that EJ's defendings yesterday were somewhat plaintive at times :'(

WOW scylla look how different our captures are! I must have mine cranked up.

Landing!
I'm not saying who it is because they look so strange, but it has to be EJ :-/
Am getting mini-buffers :(
Big flaps and defence squeals.
It's the whiteness that has got me flummoxed. (EDIT - from my VLC, obviously not happy with conditions this morning!)
This is what her landing should have looked like:
Her usual swarthy self ;)
Interesting squeals and then softer chirps. She's gone.
