A lot of activity yesterday as opposed to the quiet the previous day. The most surprising thing happened early in the day when scylla saw an unringed male osprey (most likely PU) land on EJ's back momentarily, paddling, before flying off. And EJ did not protest! THEN... it happened AGAIN! (scylla's video of 2nd time) Had to rub my eyes on those captures and videos! Once she flew off, the camera person caught THREE osprey flying in the distance! (by Moffer)
Later, the camera person spied EJ hanging out in the lookout tree and also in the camera tree. (by BNN) After that, she revolved through the nest, the cam post, the tree until the end of the day. Speaking of the day, our very own Catlady was at LG viewing all the excitement IN THE FLESH and provided us with a spirited account! After this, I'm ready for a nap.
More importantly, is PU EJ's major suitor, and where is FC8???

There were two Ospreys in the intrusion. (as always, playing catch up as I was eating) As the male flew left, the other bird went over. I'm not so sure it's PU. There have been two unringed males around, although EJ didn't push him off, but she was otherwise busy with intruder 2 who just had to be female.
Great coverage Scylla and CC :o)
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Yes the third was most def female! :-/I'm off for now - the freezes are driving me nutso.
I'm off too :( For a couple of hours at least!
I know you'll look after us, MOFFER :-* Specially now you're fortified ;)
IMAGICAT
Lots of freezes but I haven't seen or heard any Osprey action.
I've dipped in and out all day, and haven't seen anything!
Cam is quite fuzzy focus now.
I'm off now. More frozen time than actual time. Good night all.
