From voices heard we deduce that EJ repelled a number of suitors yesterday morning - tho we only saw FC8 waiting for her on the nest and one (blue-ringed) descend upon her fleetingly.
EJ ended up in a spin, with her only true friend for company :'( And even that true friend couldn't stay where it was put, a victim of the high winds.
IMAGICAT
It's been a quiet night so far.
Not a lot happened yesterday after 11.24. But the morning was busy.
EJ arrived on the nest at 4.44 with a fish tail, defending the nest. Someone landed on the campost. EJ mantled for a while and flew off at 4.50
She returned at 4.53. The cam post bird was still there, but someone else had EJ mantling again, looking in the direction of the cam tree for a full 13 mins. The cam post bird (Blue Darvic, suspected FC8) came down from the post and flew off. EJ also flew.
5.32 Birdie found a Crestie on the nest.
5.57 FC8 returns and stays on the nest a long while. He left at 6.46 Birdies early morning catch up
9.33 EJ returns to defend the nest, calling and flapping. Up to the cam post and flown.
9.50 EJ is back, mantling and calling, on and off. Two other Osprey are flying in the backgrond. EJ moves the silly stick around the nest again, and leaves at 10.29
11.15 An unringed male intruder touches down, and flown. A second unringed male (thought to be PU, pale unringed) landed briefly. Birdie's vid
11.24 PU lands briefly again. That is the total summary of yesterdays events.
What will today bring? It's getting light now

I hope you get a good sleep, too! You've probably written BIRDIE's DU summary for her :o
Cam is down.
It froze @ 0411hr, this is what appeared when I manually refreshed when the penny dropped:
And it's Sunday morning and posts are slow.
Cam back up! Go figure!
I think we have FC8 on the nest.

As one doesn't like to make claims without concrete evidence ;)
This was what I saw when I glanced at the screen:
