HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE!
The solstice is on Wednesday.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. There's a white-tailed deer fawn like this one on my patch. Her mother takes her across to the creek for a drink of water every day at dawn.

Good Morning. Still very warm here, but not quite as hot today, hopefully.
Nice to hear from you, ForestBoar.
AQ - Hope you enjoyed that crusty roll, anyway!
OG - Good that progress is being made with the decking.
My Friend and her OH are calling in here for a coffee this morning on their way to her attending a clinic (just routine checks). I've got lots to do, so dashing off now to those myself down etc. Have a good day, All.
Here's today's pic:
My favourite peony in our garden.
Dear friends my darling precious Daughter died very peacefully yesterday morning. We were all with her. She is now out of pain and is at rest.
Oh, my dear - I'm so very sorry to hear. Good that you were all able to be right there with her.
My sincere condolences to you on your huge loss.
HARELADY- Such tragic news. Please accept my loving and caring thoughts xx
Harelady - I was so sad to read about your daughter. As you say, she is out of pain now. My prayers and thoughts are with you and all those who loved and will miss her.

Harelady, we just don't have words. We're both thinking about you at this very sad time.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
HARELADY – so sorry to read of the death of your Daughter. As you say, no more pain and suffering for her, and she is at peace now, but that doesn’t make it easier for you and the family – glad you were there with her. Will continue with prayers for you and your other children.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Good morning all. A shower of rain at breakfast – good for the grass treatment OH applied last evening. Supposed to get heavy rain and thunder later – was a hot night, but temp hasn’t risen today, although humidity is making the air quite oppressive. OH is busy indoors, but decking man has just arrived – I assume he’ll work until it gets too wet this afternoon.
Wendy – shed becoming a beach hut – sounds a bit like Alan Titchmarsh’s writing shed.
Linda – hope you can soon fetch the car, as part of your planned busy day!
Lynette – pleased to see you are persevering with the boot – was rather worried when you said earlier that you had left it off.
AQ – sorry you are not getting your winter rain. Bad that your OH won’t go out, even for lunch – maybe you should drag him out shopping with you. I hope Nanny duty went well.
Annette – so sensible of your Granddaughter to drive overnight and avoid the heat of the desert. It was nice for you that they spent a bit longer with you this time.
