HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE!
The solstice is on Wednesday.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. There's a white-tailed deer fawn like this one on my patch. Her mother takes her across to the creek for a drink of water every day at dawn.

PAT O Well done you. I have just told my OH who has played the course (we lived in Ayr for 4 years) We are both very impressed.

OG. I have passed this on to Chris along with others.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks Mike.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Indeed the Poole (Arne) project is amazing. I remember them going up and they were worried platforms were the wrong size although under Roy's guidance .
Good day up here and have a friend transforming my shed ( not his shed) into a beach hut. It's 15feet by 8 so a good size. I will be having bunting and girlie bits. I will sit in my directors chair and watch Osprey Buzzard and Golden Eagles over my local Ben:-)
Our car is still at the garage in Hyde. But hopefully, it will be OK as they say they can fix it.
It spoils our plans for tomorrow as it will probably be ready for collection at an inconvenient time, but hey ho.
Hi all, getting around a lot better but find it tiring this weather. Another 2/3 weeks with boot on when walking anywhere.
Harelady - hope your dau's. treatment goes well and they get to the bottom of the problem. Glad you have friends you can stay with and not be too far away from her.
Diane - Wow, the wildlife certainly like you. How fascinating to have a very large spider visit and as to the frogs, well done for handling them and releasing them again outside.
Lindy - love the pics as usual particularly the one with the kitten and laptop.

That really looks promising for the Poole ospreys. Yes, Margo would have loved it being nearer to her home.
We still have chilly nights (4.5 C) and no sign of winter rain. Days are pleasantly warm (15 C). With blue sky & sun shining, OH decided it was a nice day and he would be out for lunch. Yeay! While food shopping I bought myself a treat for my lunch, a crusty roll. Home again to find OH can’t be bothered going out. He’s parked himself in front of TV. I have nanny duty this arvo, the last of Dau’s parenting course, so future nannying should be less chaotic.
Evening all: Granddaughter and Ms. D en route home; they left after dinner so they'll drive across the desert at night when temperatures will be only in the mid 80s as opposed to 120+ F. Terrible heat, even with a/c in the car. She'll be texting me and her Mom from appropriate points along the way. Had a lovely, if hectic, visit and longer than usual, which was super.
OG: Yes, Margo would have been thrilled indeed about the Poole ospreys. Bet it felt wonderful to be out in the garden after all those weeks in hospital.
Lynette: I can imagine that boot isn't comfortable in that heat. We Facetimed the UK family today - it was hotter there than here and with no air-conditioning. Ghastly for them. We've been cooler than the rest of the Southwest due to being right on the coast.
AQ: Did you have to share your roll with your OH or is he okay sorting himself out? Are the weather types getting worried about the lack of rain?
LIndybird: Maybe the car will get done early.
Forestboar: Saw your name and wondering how things are going with you and yours.
Harelady: Thinking of you. The heat can't be making your trips into London any easier.
Off to bed to await updates from granddaughter.
