Well, we saw a Blue Darvic yesterday on the nest, but sadly it was not FC8. This was caught by very sharp eyes. EJ was in full alarm mode, and it was hypothesized that the Blue Darvic might be a female, rather than male. In addition, it was duly noted that EJ had a full crop, and it was good to remember her just before that munching on a whopper of hers on a perch nearby.
We look forward to another day of catching a glimpse of our dear EJ and hoping a handsome male manages to convince her of his worth. :)

Good morning and thank you very much for starting the day, CC :-*
The cam had frozen again @ 0110hr but has been going strong for quite a while now.
Time for me to turn in but I have a lot of loose ends to tie up, if only I can remember what they are :-/

Hi scylla :-*
You are up very late. Because I am getting ready to head in myself. :-P Still not enough hours in my day to do "not very much"! More time I have, the more I tend to waste... here is the scene now.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
Loose ends for you from here or elsewhere, I wonder. Troublesome about cam freezes.
