Nothing much happened all day since scylla caught a glimpse of her before anyone was up. We marveled at the lovely Willow Warbler making use of EJ's downy feather. But then at the end of the day, EJ spent a good 45 minutes on the nest for us [scylla's video compilation!]. This resulted in a paparazzi photo bomb in the fading light of the evening. We were all thrilled, especially when she looked directly at the camera.
Will we ever learn what happened to Blue FC8, and even who he IS? Will he return? Stay tuned.

That should say "fish-tail" ;)
There's a flyby right at the start, then the alarm chirps heard:
1m01s
(It will be clearer once processing is finished.)
Where did she go? Not back to her nest :(

Hi everyone. I'm delighted to be back. Its taken 2 years, several e mails and eventually a complaint to RSPB HQ.. but at last I'm back.. Too late for chick watching but I'm so relieved to be back with you all... Hope you have all stayed well. Won't use names I've remembered in case I miss anyone out. I'm the one who spends her life travelling Europe in our RV..Still never seen an osprey out of Lochgarten. But this season in the Trafalgar area of Spain, seen Griffon vultures, Hoopoe, nesting storks.... ...

Gosh! Thank you for taking all that trouble to rejoin us, VIVIENNE, welcome home! :)
We might yet see EJ partnered up with a new man, and I so hope we do, failing Odin's return :'(
Am investigating some possible distant chirps.
EDIT
Must have been wishful thinking. What with the wind and the interference...
Nice to see EJ has had a fish and that she is still around.
Rain.
Lovely pictures of EJ with her fish
Nice to see you, PATILY :)
I'm going to get "breakfast", forgot to eat yet.
EJ floated down onto the nest... and floated(?) off again :o
EXCEPT - it didn't look like EJ.
