A marvelous day of viewing EJ in top form, on various perches. Kudos to the cam operator following her around! However at the end of the day skydancing was heard and feather rustles and a sweet EJ chirp from the nest. We wondered if she was being enticed by a suitor. Finally, Les Carr, veteran LG'er, left us with more and especially descriptive photos of the Forward Hide! They are keepers (and enlargeable so click away)! :)

Good morning scylla! :-* Hope it has cooled down there.
Here's a pic of the nest, just for reference. © RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
Not good here, CC :( I shan't be around for a while.
Oh bother! :( It's been a tough season so far!

Lighter but silent still. I'm headed off to bed. G'night all, and best wishes for you, scylla. xx
Good morning Scylla and all.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good morning, MIKE! I've just resurged, surprised to see "only" you have posted since I left. Just going to catchup overnight.
To be heavily edited later, more snaps and video. (but lots of blurs on movement.)
Am having immense trouble posting - so very s-l-o-w uploading pics :'(
Edited video - she was on the nest 13 minutes.
4m30s
Note the wing-beats on the cusp of 0521-0522hr. He must have flown over quite close.
This is the UNCUT version, if anyone wants to check for flybys - I spotted one tiny, slow one up the left side:
13m03s
Just checking back for any sightings before EJ's landing, I see that I missed her fly-in so it's not in the videos !!! Yes it was - I had accidentally chopped it off, the above video now has it.
There is no sound of her talons on the campost tho.
You'd think she flew to the campost but I couldn't hear a landing or scrapes:
Coffee time :)
