The season so far:
LM12 (Laddie) arrived back on the 16 March and LF15 (Lassie) on the 23 March. Lassie laid three eggs on the 4th, 7th, and 10th April. The first egg failed to hatch however the second hatched on the 13th May and the third on the 18th May.
Laddie and Lassie are again proving to be excellent parents and throughout this month we will see them transform into beautiful young juvenile ospreys and hopefully learn of their sexes and IDs when they are ringed later in the month.

Following you around. Scene similar to what you describe Mike.
I must go to visit Lowes soon before they fledge as once fledged you often don't see them on the nest :-)

In case you are wondering the chick is on the left! She is almost as big as Lassie.
As I got the capture I Lassie was calling and sure enough in came Laddie with a fish which Lassie grabbed and started to eat.
Checking back before posting #1 not bothered but #2 getting fed.
Lassie feeding one, while the other gets poised for you know what, then does some preening :-)
Feed in progress. Surely been raining Juvies look quite wet.
