HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MONTH ON THURSDAY!
Summertime arriving for us all except AQ. Have a good winter, AQ.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

DIBNLIB - hope the paracetomol helped you through the night, and good luck getting the advice you need.
AQ - good luck with the new communications boxes; I hope the phone is okay!
DIANE - sorry your project has had more delays; you must be getting really fed-up with it by now.
I am feeling even more steady on my feet today, but yes, everyone, I am being very careful and not trying anything without the zimmer! That does make it difficult when something wants carrying, but I am not attaching a bag to the frame - seen too many near-accidents when people do that!
I think rain is forecast later today - I hope so really, for OH to do cleaning rather than gardening! Man is coming some time to fettle the new gate - it needs diagonal braces. J has INSET days today and tomorrow, so is quite happy to be at work without kids!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Great news that you're better on your feet now, OG. By the way, although I know your problems are more temporary, we bought my mother in law a wonderful Zimmer with two wheels, two other steady legs, and a handy "shelf" so that she could ferry her cup of tea from the kitchen, on a small tray. It worked very well and was a Godsend.
Diane - Thanks for your heads up on the launch today. Hope you get to the end of your mammoth efforts soon.
OG – When I was using my walker, I had a soft bag with generous handles that I wore as a shoulder bag or on my back to transport small items, eg paperbacks, biro, notebook.
Went outside to inspect my white poppies, which are just opening. On the way to them, noticed some weeds which had popped up in a flowerbed. Pulled those, then went to the tool store to get my gloves and secatuers as I noticed that there was a big 'arm' on a holly bush. Spent five minutes pruning and pulling more weeds, then went to fetch the camera to take pics of what's come out in the garden in the last 2 days. Took photos. Pulled more weeds. Emptied the dirty bird bath. Took photos. Pulled more weeds. Headed back to the house and noticed more weeds, plus clippings from yesterday's light pruning, still on the ground..... Then took more photos. Told dog off for chasing the pigeons.
Eventually, went back into the house to find that my hot chocolate was now only warm. Help! - I think I need OG to organise me!
LINDY Think we could all do with an OG to help organise us!
My cousin had thought she was to go to a hospital local to home for rehab. She cannot go home yet as the extension she needs isn't ready yet. She is in an Edn hospital at the moment and the rehab hosp have refused to take her as they say she doesn't need rehab. The Edn hospital then suggested an old folks hospital while she awaits the completion of the work at home. My cousin is 55!!! Her husband quite rightly has refused this so things are in limbo and cousin is still in Edinburgh. One of these days things will get better for them.
What a sad situation, Dibnlib. I don't think it's all that uncommon, sadly, as there are just not enough hospital beds nor places in nursing homes. Sometimes it's teenagers who are caught out between places because there's no provision for them. I do hope that things get better for them both, soon.
LINDY Thank you.
Watching Andy Murray in the French Open. He is down a set at the moment.
See that Murray managed to save his match. He's good at scaring us in the run up to Wimbledon!
Went onto the link provided by Diane, but it says "Tonight's launch scrubbed due to the weather," darn it!
Annette – Our Twinnies being different is not so surprising since they are simply 2 sisters who happened at same time. Not from a single egg split.
.
Linda’s report card – Easily distracted. Can’t remain with first objective. LOLOL
Dibnlib – I hope you can eat “real” food soon.
OH is looking miserable this morn. It was down to 2.4 C at 6 am. Of course he can’t stay in bed where it is cosy, but has to play on his ‘puter. I suggest an extra jumper.
