Tonight brings an empty nest except for the part fish that EJ brought to the nest while she tried to shout someone away. Unfortunately, a Blue Ring intruder dive bombed her off the nest and left shortly after that. EJ never returned for her fish. :( Blue CT6 was spotted earlier in the day on the camera tree, so perhaps that was the intruder. We still are holding out for Odin.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Indeed!
I do wish that EJ had been back after being supplanted like that. Hopefully LG will keep us closely informed.

Osprey on the nest. I just can't tell who it is, yet.
I was away from the computer when it caught my eye, and after a few seconds it obviously was not EJ. Just fetching up video.
EDIT
First, loadsa snaps, or MOFFER won't be able to do her ID ;) It was very pale this morning but I'll let anyone else do their own enhancements.
He's after EJ's relinquished fish:
But something startled him - probably a guilty conscience:

EJ on the nest.
My sound is blooming well muted !!!!!!!!!
I thought "OMG, she's got a white face - is it the shock or is it someone else?!" - it's a feather.

Sorry about the unavoidable delay.
Oh how relieved I am to see her :'( :-*
I know I'm clutching at straws, but this is the top of Odin's head:
Early bird this morning:
I've been fantasising that the early bird this morning was a very thin, hungry Odin coming in for his leftover :( But I think the underwing is wrong.
I wish it were. I can't really tell with the B+W. And this one certainly looked thin and hungry. But I think his head proportions are wrong... :-{ (Did you speed up that video, scylla?)
