Not a good day yesterday. Still no Odin. Started out ENS, then an unringed intruder, then to our relief, EJ returned to the nest with a partially eaten fish, ate the rest on the Fish Perch. But later when it began to rain, she came back to brood the empty nest cup. She was a forlorn sight in the rain. A partial eggshell is still there, and she returned later in the evening and hunched over the cup again until the rain ceased before flying off again. Now ENS. Good morning all. She's off and I just read about Blue FC5 being around the nest (on Facebook).
Aw bless her she is still looking down into the next cup, and around for her mate. I am still clinging onto the hope the Odin will return.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thanks for the alert CC.

EJ is around the centre today, already being bothered by another male! Blue leg-ring FC5.

No one in view.
Just saw a white flash across the screen - looked like an osprey.
No change
Hello Everyone
Birdie and I went to the VC yesterday, and I have done a report on the Visit LG thread, Birdie will do one too later on.
Thanks for all the captures on this thread and for everyone's input too. (Especially Moffer who is fastest finger on VLC) ....

Thank you Mary. What a lovely report from LG. Fab photo's too. I agree, EJ deserves respect, she is also the one for me :o)
I had to bring this one pic over. love it :o)
I have to say Moffer the tears were tripping me while I was writing that last paragraph and if that makes me weak and not in the real world then so be it, I am proud to be that person who cares with all her heart.
Lovely report. And she deserves the greatest respect at what she has done this year. As long as life was on the nest she was going to remain.
