No news of whether EJ got a fish during the morning outage yesterday - she certainly didn't act unhungry all day :(
But she did present herself especially beautifully - it's just a pity that her and Odin's housekeeping lets them down ;)

The nest area plays host to lots of wildlife, we know, and I think we heard a Barn Owl before and after midnight - this is the clip that fits into today:

Buggle. I came home for work and immediately fell asleep only to wake up and think --- I must see what scylla's up to now that I've gone and over-napped! THANK YOU! There's a headless EJ sleeping on the nest. She's alive cos I can see her breathing.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

I am not an expert on owls, and certainly not barn owls. I went to the Cornell bird ID site, and it sounded somewhat similar, but more hissy.

I understand, CC ;-*
Yes, EJ is alive - she had a quick flyabout a little while ago but I was seized up and couldn't snap at the time:

Barn Owls are quite versatile, so that's who I'm plumping for.
Just about to post the above when:

Here's some more because she's been neglected:
Good morning MC. I take it CC has gone.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning Scylla and Mike
Thanks for the start off Scylla, I was thinking along the same lines when I took my capture a couple of mins ago about how untidy the nest was, the worst its ever been I think :-)

I must say too that when I opened up the Cam in Chrome this morning, I have sound, a first ever for me.
Usually have to enable the flash version, but there have been Windows 10 updates yesterday so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
Awww who could resist taking captures of beautiful EJ..... what a necklace! :-)
Gorgeous snap of EJ, good morning, MARY :-* You'll see why I've been rather quiet here when you check LA.

Wow! I must check that out... even tho I'm not friends with Chrome right now, since I discovered it uses up resources in the background even when it's not open >:(
