We turn the page from a good day with a few minor intruder niggles, a good half-fish, and good weather - let that be the minimum standard for today.
There's been a strange voice in the night, it's woken EJ up even tho it's far from loud - but she doesn't have the underlying cam noise to penetrate like we do.
Is it bovine?

EJ has begun to witter for fish as she turns her eggs. I did not see if she turned clockwise!

Thanks CC! Argh, I'm going away on 18th again, so I hope at least one will hatch before then.
Are we now interested in the direction EJ turns (clockwise?)?
Tiger's Osprey News
Hi again all. EJ was calling for ages, she was turning the eggs, NOT clockwise. She flew off and Odin landed

Countup clock nearly reaches 30
EJ unusually hatches on 36 days so presumably there will be a hatch on Monday 15 May Mind you the snow may have slowed hatching.

Thanks scylla for tech instructions, I don't have a pc, only an iPad so I don't think I will be able to take pics and videos, but I enjoy all of your posts it keeps me up to date when I get in from work. LG looking lovely in the sunshine can't wait for 1st chick!
Is EJ catching flies? Every now and then she suddenly moves her head like to catch something in the air...
14.47 EJ is incubating. Although she had been panting there appears to be a breeze.... she is panting again!
A big yawn
She pants
Checks eggs
Wiggle wiggle
Settled
and panting again

There is a new blog, written by Chris T. One interesting piece of note is: "..she (EJ) has disappeared from the nest only to reappear a few minutes later with her underparts dripping with water.". I hope someone has spotted this little gem, I am ashamed to say I haven't.
What is the bird singing in the background please? It's lovely.
