A Blue Darvic intruder came to the nest yesterday, causing much alarm to EJ and Odin. Despite this, EJ did get fed, and is now resting on the nest in one of her usual sleep positions. This time "flat out", with an occasional rock on the eggs.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Thanks for all the vids Scylla. The "Gettin' jiggy with it" made me smile, but not as much as yesterdays noisy poop. That made me chuckle.
Sorry your not feeling well. Take care.

I'm off as well. Good night all.
Goodnight Moffer. Sorry to hear you are not feeling too well, Scylla and trust a good night's sleep will help. I also hope Joe's see doggie is on the mend. Well done for climbing the Munro!
EJ has just risen with a chirrup and flown for a comfort break.
The evening light is beautiful.

After a spell of restless, checking and turning her eggs and paddling beneath, EJ seems to have settled for the night. I guess the forest noises appear louder as the light drops, but now it's time to relax.
EJ's head is low, but still she doesn't surrender to sleep.

Hello and welcome Marion! I've amazingly revived and what a great post to log on to :)
If you are on a Windows computer you can use the "Snipping Tool" in Windows Accessories. I don't use it as I use a snapping prog called Greenshot, but I've just done this snap with it:
If you can figure out how to take a "screenshot" and save it to your picture folder, you can post it on here by choosing Rich Formatting instead of typing in the blank reply box, and clicking on this:
and uploading your snap into it, then click Insert at the bottom of that box, then type your message (unless you only want to add a snap with no comment) and hit Post.
You can practise to your heart's content (and ask any other tech questions) in this TECHNICAL TEST THREAD.
I need to investigate whose voice this... EJ noticed it too.
