A Blue Darvic intruder came to the nest yesterday, causing much alarm to EJ and Odin. Despite this, EJ did get fed, and is now resting on the nest in one of her usual sleep positions. This time "flat out", with an occasional rock on the eggs.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Morning all and thanks for all the earlier updates and captures.
Good to see EJ has eaten - just love the fat tail LOL
I don't know where my Good Morning post went.
So here it is again. Morning all. Thanks for the early posts, bit disappointed that there wasn't a farting EJ today :D At the moment she's frantically calling for fish. (This was at 7.30)
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
9.18 EJ's back with fish. No alarm calls given, but both look alert. Crows are calling.
Morning all thanks for all the updates. I did plan to go to LG over the weekend as the weather was simply stunning but my poor wee sensitive accident prone dog got bitten by an adder on Thursday while she was munro bagging on Carn ban Mhor. I will definitely go this coming weekend to make up for my shoddy contributions this year.
EJ got her herself and fish tangled in the twiggy branch. She frees herself, but Odin leaves. She drops the fish to incubate.
EJ with the obligatory small white feather stuck to her beak.
So sorry to read about your poor dog Lmac. Hope she recovers quickly.
If that's the same tail end that Odin brought this morning, either EJ isn't all that hungry or it isn't to her taste!!!!!
Yes it is Rusty, but considerably smaller now.
EJ's up and grabbed the fish. She's eating on the nest with delightfull squeaks
