A Blue Darvic intruder came to the nest yesterday, causing much alarm to EJ and Odin. Despite this, EJ did get fed, and is now resting on the nest in one of her usual sleep positions. This time "flat out", with an occasional rock on the eggs.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Good morning and thank you, CC! Especially for performing this service for us while you are away from home :o
It's very quiet, EJ is not looking so elegant now, but she's at rest nevertheless.

Have been waylaid.
EJ had a flyabout but the recording got interrupted:
Cuckoo now, loud and clear :) And its partner, too!

No chirping from EJ yet. Coffee time.
Good Morning Scylla and CC
I have been here a while...
Thanks for the start off and overnight pics and posts. That scene of CC's opening thread, was the same across most of the nests, first time I have seen that, all females in that lying down position.
Definitely lots of unrecognisable sounds on that video Scylla, and the Cuckoo went into overdrive LOL.....
EJ sitting quietly at the moment.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
She has just done a little roll of the eggs, then keeps looking in this direction
Lovely colours! Good morning, MARY :-*
I was going to try to take some cam noise off that video, Mary, but I think it would distort what we do want to hear. That's the trouble when you're willing but not competent ;)
That sounds like a lot of work and a bit complicated Scylla :-)
Is always nice to hear all those different noises through the night, not sure I would like to be a volunteer on night shift, find you had to spend a penny, then hear some of those noises, would scare the living daylights out of you Ha Ha....
Good morning Mary and MC. I see you are in good form today!!
Birdies LG DU update.
Some little twitters... little chirps from EJ.
I had been going to mention that all the lovely birdsong had stopped.
Good morning MIKE!
