[HAD TO GET HERE BEFORE SCYLLA - TEEHEE] It was a hot day for panting Odin and EJ, but Odin managed a good sized headless trout for their breakfast. Great pics of EJ on the nest, with beak wide open calling, and while talking to her eggs (can they hear anything now?). Crows are still a problem - they seem to be watching the nest for fish, I think, though EJ is rightly protective of her eggs. Here's a variation on a theme. :)© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

10.17 Good morning Moffer, and ALL!
There were some lovely captures earlier, but I particularly liked CC's of EJ at 04.48. EJ looked wonderful. Yet another sunny day north of the border - you lucky people! I have a horrible feeling that it will all change in a couple of weeks, ready for hatching. But even Scotland is very dry this year, and rain is probably needed wherever we are.

A video (pretty please, not demanding but asking nicely) would show it better.
I'm going shopping now. BBL.
It looks as though EJ is trying to cool down, lying fairly low, but splayed out.
She rises to check the eggs
and settles again
Edit: LOL Did you hear me talking about you?
