Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Well, Djoan !!!!!! I think it may well be Middle hatched !!!! being fed. I'll observe more
Cirrus it was Odin as EJ did all her usual backing up to give him room to land.
Margobird
Now that is what I call bare-faced cheek ... a young one with its foot on a fish ... being fed by EJ from another fish!
Where did the fish come from that EJ has ... is it a left-over?

ARE WE SURE ELDEST ISN'T AROUND? OK - then here we have Middle youngster feeding itself like an adult - finally !!!!!!!!
Lovely golden fish, whatever it is
We have to assume that Eldest has flown off Cirrus, as there is no one else on the nest, but it may be on the camera post but I doubt it, as it would have shouted - its a noisy brute!
DjoanS I am baffled as I only saw Odin with a fish and EJ was on the nest when he arrived. Think it must have been left over fish. Probably wrong but is it Titch with the fish now. the other one just had a bit of a wing flap.
OK Lindy - you caught EJ just before she flew off. The youngest watached her - she flew around and then in the direction of the roosting tree
Ej flies in ... attack mode ... intruder alert
EJ mantling furiously!
