Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

Jobs done so back again and that intruder will not leave them in peace. I think I saw it flying over just as I logged in. Is it just the 3 youngsters making all the racket or is EJ there as well. Certainly very loud at the moment.
Thanks to all for some very humerous chat and wonderful pics and as has been said we will not see them all on the nest for much longer so am saving the pics. Seems to have stopped raining at the moment but sounds a bit windy so perhaps No.2 might take a flight today. Couldnt log on last evening so there was a lot to catch up on.
Margobird
Quite a bit of drama going on, must get on so will catch up later.
Fish is hidden by EJ . Eldest made a nuisance of itself till Youngest and Middle chick got up which allowed it (he hoped) to lie down between them. So, Middle is in foreground Eldest is in middle and Youngest furthest away

Back from short shopping mission. I see EJ is on the nest helping to defend against the intruder. If I read it correctly, she brought another fish when she arrived? And its raining :-(

Lovely description Cirrus!
Good morning DjoanS poor EH has been shrieking away for well over half an hour now. The intruder is just not going away. Pouring with rain again now and she is still very angry.
Cirrus you post made me laugh.
Well, jellypede has gone now and it looks like Youngest is the lucky one being fed. So, middle juve is missing out (again) - hopefully later. Eldest still in centre looking at proceedings but it'd better not dare get up for seconds after eating a whole fish.
Wow, did anyone get a snap of the intruder on the nest?
Sorry, Cirrus, was away making a drink :-( Did the intruder land on the nest?
