Evening folks,
It was an action packed day yesterday with the eldest enjoying his new found freedom, unwanted visitors and EJ protecting the youngsters. The two left on the nest were practicing their wing flapping, hopefully one will fledge tomorrow if not both. Didn't see a lot of the action but recorded some.
All peaceful at present. Happy viewing to all in the early hours and see you in the morning, night, night.

One would think that either EJ or Odin would hear this racket and come to the rescue.

They'll all be hoarse after all this shouting, I've turned the volume down 3 times, it's been going on for ages. Is that a fish stuck under No 1's (?) foot?
Cirrus - Annette was asking about a piercing call from a small bird perched on the camera post right next to the microphone early this morning, not one of the osps, but no one was up to help her ;))

Yes, Joan, I agree about #2 this morning.
Seems to have gone quiet now! I must go and do non-osprey things .... back later.

And still it goes on. Hang on, eldest has turned round now and has the fish in its talons, youngest with back to camera is now eating as well. Middle one is still sitting.
Yes that is a fish under the eldest's foot.
#2's "less than threatening" contribution to the defense of the nest is to occasionally alarm call while laying flat on the nest and hiding it's head LOL
Good, all quiet again, 1 and 3 eating, oh 3 has dragged the fish away to have to himself. Good view of him twisting bits off and eating.
That's if they've all stayed in the same positions since you kind people identified them!
Titch is doing fantastic at feeding himself! He has eaten more than half of his fish
The eldest left a large part of his fish on the nest and #2 isn't to even getting up to take it :(
