Wonderful camerawork from LG treated us to views of the side of the nest and flights to and from surrounding perches. Also, an exciting bit of video from Aviemore looked as if it might feature Odin on a fishing trip, and after that post, we saw a fish delivery at the nest real time (from the side)! :-D Here is Sleeping Beauty on a quiet nest tonight. Underneath, one of the eggs is counting down 2 weeks until its due date. Then we'll hear those lovely croc sounds! I can't wait!© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Hi Moffer and Sheila and anyone else who is around
Oh what cracking captures of EJ and Odin today.... fab reporting by all concerned :-)
Its nice getting a side view of the nest for a wee change.
It looks a bit windy, but dry so cannot complain at that. Hate watching EJ incubate in downpours.

I hope you don't mind, I have added a couple of your capture's Moffer and Sheila to the Odin thread. Always nice to carry them over there, and not get lost.
Hi Mike, Sheila, Mary and anyone else around. I'm a bit distracted today as I have workmen in, but I'm trying to keep up.
Of course I don't mind Mary. I should have posted some there myself.
EJ looks chilled out, and not calling, so Odin is not in sight.

EJ called and has flown
Odin takes over.
Cam pans around to find EJ on the fish perch.
and cam finds EJ on her perch
Of course I don't mind, Mary. I just forget to do it, so thank you!
Sometimes VCU does me a favour and holds a scene!

Rather you than me Moffer, workmen are usually not that tidy :-)
You can see the nest shaking in the wind. Wonder if EJ feels any movement when its shaking around like that, must feel like she is on a fair ground ride. :D
LOL shows how slow I am at posting captures, I can't keep up Oh well. :-)
Good morning all! Just came in to see Odin take over after EJ called and left for the Fish Perch where she is preening.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
Keep them coming MARY, the more the merrier, I say!
