Wonderful camerawork from LG treated us to views of the side of the nest and flights to and from surrounding perches. Also, an exciting bit of video from Aviemore looked as if it might feature Odin on a fishing trip, and after that post, we saw a fish delivery at the nest real time (from the side)! :-D Here is Sleeping Beauty on a quiet nest tonight. Underneath, one of the eggs is counting down 2 weeks until its due date. Then we'll hear those lovely croc sounds! I can't wait!© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

EJ is calling to Odin
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Odin is in the lower branches of the cam tree
We see you Odin
EJ is alarm calling, Crows are calling close by. Odin leaves the cam tree
The camera has followed him. He's in the dead tree, preening.
EJ is calling, Odin has flown
Cam has panned to a side view of the nest, with EJ sitting
Big wing stretch
Great shots Moffer and great camera work.
Birdies LG DU update.
EJ is watching someone
A shadow passes across the nest as EJ gives a brief alarm
All clear, she is panting, Bright sun, but quite breezy
Good morning Moffer and Mike, and all who have gone before! CC, Scylla, Mary, patily, Clare, Rusty2 and Maj. I hope I haven't missed anyone.
Oh boy, Birdie, what a scare you had last night. Thank goodness a reboot seemed to have sorted it out. Computers. I will never understand them.
Thank you CC for another excellent start to the day. Only two weeks till hatching starts, eh? Where does the time go? I love the early morning B&W captures. Yes, Mary, the nest certainly does change over the season from the basic, to EJ's start to building it up, to Odin's active contributions of sticks, branches, lichen, moss and grassy clumps - and then to the flat base as the chicks start moving around. It is a fascinating metamorphosis!
I joined in when Odin was on the camtree
and now the side view of EJ, busy checking the feathers and making sure her bib is in pristine condition.
Radio chaffinch is keeping her entertained just now. The sun is out and there is a breeze. It looks lovely.
EJ has just got up, and given a call as she checks her eggs, and settled again.
