As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

Thanks for the post OM
Clarach's first chick hatched overnight according to Dyfi! I've not seen it yet but here she is sitting tight :-)
Dyfi Facebook post and capture. Fantastic news.
Birdies LG DU update.
Brilliant news - thanks Mike.
I've been watching the cam for the last 30 mins hoping she would rise to see if there had been a hatching. Hopefully she will soon and we will see the little bob.
Well Done Clarach and her male too.
Sighting of Clarach's first bobble
male arrives and Clarach rises ... no fish tho :-(
Clarach stretches and takes a comfort break
males looks then stands by
Clarach returns ... the little bob has its head up
it is a strong and healthy looking chick :-)

The male has now flown and Clarach covers her chick and eggs.
Hopefully he has gone for a fish as we would really like to see one lying on the nest now.
Clarach takes another quick break
close up of the little bob (wish the cam could zoom in - sorry not that clear :-( )
Clarach returns quickly and settles down again
hopefully she has been nagging the male to get a fish as I would like to see the bobble get some thing to eat
Lovely pics Karen. The wee bobblehead is quite special to me. It is the first off-spring I from a chick I have seen hatched. Exciting times in the conservation of the species!

Hi Sheila, snap ... this is the first off-spring I've seen too and I suspect it will be for many of us:)
Such wonderful news and something we need this season :-)
Clarach rises allowing the chick some air
Clarach takes a break and returns very quickly to the chick and eggs
Clarach now settles once more on the chick and eggs
I have not seen a feed as yet ... I hope the male appears very soon with a fish!
