As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

Birdies LG DU update.
Raining and the male is currently incubating. Clarach returns from a break and hopefully a fish
swap over ... still three eggs
The males flies off and Clarach settles down to incubate
Still 3 eggs as Clarach checks them in what looks like light rain.
Then Mr C. joins her and seems to be calling so perhaps intruders about? He also did some stickifying!

Another check and still raining. Clarach incubating while the male stands by
the male does a little nest work
and then off he flies
It is really nice to see the male as most times I have looked I have just seen Clarach incubating.
Snap, Karen - glad you also captured him flying away.
Hi Birdsong :)
I too saw him calling and wondered about an intruder as I had just switched the cam on but there was no mantling and he then started fiddling with the stick so I'm not sure. Maybe something in the distance.
