As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

Looks clear and bright there now Male has just arrived Is there an intruder? They both seem to be shouting but no mantling
Oh Just noticed rings It is Clarach who arrived and male incubating and not getting up Perhaps Clarach is shouting at him
Changeover and male flies off
I promised myself I'd watch the FCS Aberfoyle nest closely but then life got in the way of the far more important task of birdwatching. Happily, Clarach is still sitting pretty when I looked in on her a few moments ago, before the webcam went off.
Here are a few thoughts on hatch dates, with huge thanks to Tiger, who's taught me how to Google Drive, although I am defeated by the 'Posh Links' (sorry) (I have a Mac which may be messing things up, or maybe it's just me!)*. Thanks too to SheilaFE - one day I might be able to post some photos**.
*/** edited on 25 May, having learned (I hope) how to do posh links and post photos!
Great 'intruder' shot. McClarach flew off after whoever it was leaving Clarach incubating.
Birdies LG DU update.
Sunny at the moment in Aberfoyle and Clarach sitting on her eggs
Clarach continues to incubate. She is picking at the sticks in front of her I suppose to break the boredom.
