As CLARACH 2R(13) from the DYFI Osprey Project has settled on the FCS Aberfoyle's main nest for the last week or so, it is probably best that there be a dedicated thread for Aberfoyle.
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.
Some history of Clarach's return to Wales - CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO TAKE YOU TO the excellent blog about her return.
Lets hope Clarach settles here, lays eggs and generally has a successful season.

At this time of day, the shadow from the campost with perched osprey is really obvious!
I missed the shot as Clarach spread her wings before dropping down to incubate - it was a lovely shadow

Once more, the male was on the nest giving Clarach a break.
He flies off leaving the eggs but Clarach is up on the campost as we can see her shadow
down she comes
and now the male arrives back with a stick which eventually he drops on Clarach

The two of them ponder about a bit and then he flies off.
Good to see more of the male incubating, some sticks and generally more "togetherness".
Still to see them mating ... maybe tomorrow :-)
I kept meaning to ask whether everyone else was getting timed out all the time but have now seen Emyr's info on Dyfi chat
"Powered by solar system and large battery"
"LS - choice of single frames or video with 3 min drop out, chose (rightly) the latter"
Thanks Birdsong, I had wondered too about the timed out but sort of just accepted the 3 mins as I have come across this with another nest - can't remember which.
It is annoying but luckily just now I am working on my PC so able to flick it on. It wont be so easy viewing at other times when I am not on the PC so I am making the most of it just now :-D
Thank you birdsong, I had certainly noticed it. I had just seen an FB post referring to it. Also they are not going to name the male (but under continual review), so perhaps, informally, Mr C is appropriate after all! The nest is deep in the forest and not visible from the Visitors' Centre. Not surprisingly, they have had a lot of interest recently!!
Clarach is incubating.

If Aberfoyle do name him, I hope they chose to name him after one of the Lochs in the area, there are plenty to pick from, and even more Lochans.
I quite fancy this Lochan name.....
Then the name could be shortened to GLEN.... which is think is quite suitable, considering there are LOTS of Glens in Scotland :-)
Clarach incubating as camera comes on.
Birdies LG DU update.
Changed over now. Male on.
Clarach now back on the eggs. Male left a short while ago to chase off an intruder but returned. Now Clarach is settled.
Male incubating just now. Hopefully Clarach is off enjoying a fish
