Take a sneak peek into the amazing wildlife of the Loch Arkaig pine forest with our live Osprey Cam, supported by players of People's Postcode Lottery.
This year, a live nest camera will allow us to keep a close-eye on an osprey pair who have been returning to Loch Arkaig for more than 10 years. The pair failed to breed last year but we’re hopeful that 2017 will be different. Can you help us chart significant moments in their life?

Empty nest now - typical! just when I have sorted the new thread LOL.....
He's back Mary and been nest cupping. Seems the female went off after an intruder.

Its all happening at Arkaig isn't it LOL.... Louis on his own for a while, then there is more than he can cope with....
One thing for sure is, he certainly has went to town on preparing the nest, its has grown quite comfy since yesterday

Thank you for setting this up Mary, what a lovely setting for a nest.
Louis has not quite got the hang of mating yet! He has been gone for a little bit now, I hope he is fishing. For some reason my video software is not picking up the sound on the camera. Need to investigate.

I thought she was going to grab it thinking it was a fish.
I feel for her Jane, as she always looks expectantly after the episodes of Sky Dancing, and its yet another clump of moss....
It is quite fascinating watching these pair, and the bonding process.
Louis was looking up all the time before he left the nest, I wonder if there is another Osprey around.
