I have been away, and just back checking that indeed the weather looks pretty sketchy for the nest week [weather post from Moffer] . I wonder if EJ and Odin sense things about the weather that humans living in houses do not. Regardless, they'll be hunkering down oblivious to the audience who will be beaming love and support towards the nest. In fact, EJ and Odin are tougher and more resilient to the elements than I will ever be! That is a comfort.
At present EJ is flat on a wet nest, and the wind is an occasional quiet roar in the background. Awwwwww....© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Good morning and thank you once again, CC :-*

Just now the gusts were sounding like underpowered thunder :o EJ has just had several vigorous flaps and a head-spin to get some of the water out of her feathers.

I regret to say that I have to pack up now and shall not be joining the BC, yet again :(
I shall be sending EJ the warmest, driest vibes in my sleep... and fond thoughts to all DU-ers :)
Goodnight, CC :-*
Oh scylla, I am sorry to have missed you, but maybe I will see you later tomorrow! xx
EJ is practically unrecognizable! No rain, but she does look rather damp.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
