True. Tough for the hatched chicks, that. Tough for us to watch tragedy come near as well. However, with well-established healthy couples who provide reliably, it is not impossible to raise four healthy fledglings. Whether it is worth it to have to watch through possible difficult times is another thing! :-P

Hi scylla! I love the sound of Odin's wings zooming by above as he chases the corvids off. And now I have caught up with the minor fish fight. :D
