Egg #2 presented to us yesterday, which was otherwise a day of nuisances - corvids (I'm told Ravens, not Crows) and nest materials both contributing - the wind apologised and, displaying sincerity, blew that dang twiggy branch right off o' the nest.

Tonight EJ has been watchful but there have been no disturbances of note.

Hi Clare, She's nice and quiet now so hopefully Odin has gone fishing, at last. Wouldn't like to be in his shoes if he comes back empty handed!
Nor would I, Pam!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ has started to call
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Fish must surely be on the way ??? !!!
Come on Odin. Give the girl some fish
EJ gets up and leaves
Odin arrives soon after. No fish :o(

I can't believe that! I just popped in to see your fish snaps before taking a break (was doing the night's prey-drops at Starr Ranch).
I fervently hope that EJ will have had a fish when I get back. See ya!
SYL Scylla. I'm off to eat soon, but I'm keeping my eye out.
I can hear EJ distantly complaining.
EJ's back on the nest, still nagging, poor girl
