Egg #2 presented to us yesterday, which was otherwise a day of nuisances - corvids (I'm told Ravens, not Crows) and nest materials both contributing - the wind apologised and, displaying sincerity, blew that dang twiggy branch right off o' the nest.
Golden Girl:
(Actually a marmelised Moffer snap.)
Tonight EJ has been watchful but there have been no disturbances of note.

Bathroom break:
Wind is gusting.
Hello scylla! I am popping in just before retiring to bed before another long day tomorrow. I am thrilled about the second egg! I love your START to the day which echoes egginess with the 4 round portraits of EJ. It is not inconceivable (punny word choice) she would have 4 eggs before the next week! It seems Spring is popping out all over Ospreyland these days. Awww, she is stone cold out asleep.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Aha! I was just thinking about you, thinking "just because I am unreliable doesn't mean you can be!" But really, my only quarrel with you is the very idea of FOUR EGGS?! ;)
I missed you due to the first nighttime grocery delivery since before my friend's operation.
Also just thinking, the cloddy clump on EJ's right may be providing a nice wind-break :)
Sound has been fluttery and now cut off. I expect a click and recovery... but back to flutters.
Sound as recovered, EJ has flown.
And back with 2 pipes.
More wings and pipes, I'll have to replay to find out whose wings, but EJ is settling back on the eggs and there was no mating so I presume it was EJ's wings flapping.
EDIT
It was EJ flapping before and after another bathroom break.
(We don't get nice wing-shots this season like last, yet.)
After:
Nothing happening except EJ being beautiful.
Good Morning Scylla and All when you arrive.
Thank You Scylla for your very pretty start to the day, love the four round photos, just like little eggs LOL....
So glad that EJ got a fish yesterday.
At the moment she is gently piping now and then....
