Yesterday was marred by bothersome corvids and (whilst also quite amusing) heavy, grass clumps barring access to the eggcup. It all worked out in the end tho. Videos here.

Hi Clare and Sheila. Got distracted with my window cleaner. Thank goodness the cam is back and we didn't miss the big event today. I've kept checking in since about 6am, but had trouble logging in.

He's clearly enjoying being on the egg. Funnily enough he doesn't look swallowed up by the soft stuff despite his smaller size - but then he's much whiter than EJ and doesn't blend in with his surroundings.
