Yesterday's CATCHUP, including another whole fish for EJ and its return to Odin.
EJ came to the nest after a (probable) Pine Marten clunk was heard - she stayed on watch, perching as far out to the right as possible. This video begins with a clunk and ends with a squit:

Too late for me to add on to vigil vid, she checked around the nest and flew:

Bye, Sheila!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Super EJ does it again! :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

Wonderful news! Dare I say things seem to be going very smoothly this year?! So lovely to have a peaceful nest. Long may it continue. Congratulations EJ & Odi
EJ half standing over her new egg -such a lovely scene :-)
(Wintry showers predicted for tomorrow!)
Edit: I'm not sure how long it takes for the egg shell to harden sufficiently but I'm sure EJ does!

Oh lovely -and unexpected! Saw her sitting there and can see the news here that it really is an egg!
Here's very edited video, with a token showing of Odin on the end. I managed to get in a couple of the "pops", not enough tweets tho :(

See y'all later. Hope MOFFER will have snaps of a more exposed egg when I get back - not taking you for granted, Moffer ;)
