Very quiet at the moment. No sign of osps or dreaded PM. Most of yesterday was repeated mating, and only one part fish from Odin. The exciting incident was the intruder who was captured on the nest sporting a Blue Darvic on the left and BTO on the right. Scottish bird. Maybe VLC will be able to identify...© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Odin brought in an inanimate object and is now finding somewhere to put it :(

Another mating.
Good morning, all. Nice to see our rampant couple are still unstoppable!
I finally bit the bullet yesterday and bought my own laptop - I collect it tomorrow. I can't wait to be able to follow the action properly - at the moment if I have the webcam and the Community up at the same time the speed drops to something which makes a snail look like Roadrunner.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
More nest material per Odin - EJ's tweet soared sweetly into the stratosphere and she flew off, Odin flew off, she flew back.

That is such good news, CLARE, I'm really looking forward to having more of your company on here :) I won't say "roll on tomorrow", as I expect you'll need a bit of time for setting it up with the programs you need/want. LIMPY will be very helpful, I'm sure :)
Scylla, you're exceptionally kind!
More nest material? It was so small he couldn't see where he'd dropped it :D
He nearly chucked some over the edge.
Mating time, he likes to vary the routine ;-D
EJ is having a bit of a preen.
Odin just landed. Pose then potter.
