Poor EJ, contending with wind, corvids, and a mate intent on nestorising and bonking and making her wait until well past 4 o'clock for half a fish!
And to cap it all, in the evening the pesky piney brought her to the nest, where she still stands, on guard.

It takes off but is still around the nest, EJ continues to alarm call for a short while
