The sad sight of a lonely dark nest. I think I was not the only one who thought Odin would have arrived yesterday. However, it may be right that he would wait to show his Magnificent Self on scylla's birthday! For certain, we will have our eyes peeled.

2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

As I was scrolling thru I saw the nest go from clear to the above and thought "Oh no! I've had a big big freeze!!!" But then saw what happened, so here's the vid with some skydancing, Odin's touchdown, and the violently shifted sticks.
