EJ spent a lot of time on the campost yesterday, possibly due to the presence of the pesky varminty Pine Marten - who is still keeping her up now!
Slo-mo extract from last evening's pop-up (thank you to MARY and SHEILA for telling me what was in my own video ;-) )

Thanks for all the updates and captures.
EJ is looking really well however I must admit I am really concerned about the pine martin!
I've just realised that VLC is cutting out again, rather than steadily hissing like it was.
EJ is back.

Good morning, all. That pine marten is enabling us to see Her Beautifulness in all her glory!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Looking down over the side.
I'm off, see ya later.
Morning all. I saw the EJ v PM last night, but my power supply is on it's way out and running very hot and noisy so I had to power down. Well done Scylla for catching it. Thanks to all for the early posts.
EJ is still on the nest

Oh dear. We already have enough to worry about without a PM causing trouble. EJ needs support from Odin.
Morning all from me too! I have Carnyx/VLC with a deeper colour than FF, but I have sound on FF! So I have two cams on LG rather than one on LG and one on MB!
EJ is pottering now, picking up bits and pieces. Potters to the back of the nest, shakes her feathers and stares over the back. Another beautiful day - I have very low cloud and mist..
I do hope the PM does not cause problems. So far EJ has been resolute in guarding her domain. I woke in the night thinking about her. OK, PM's are also a protected species, but could moth balls be the solution!! If they were stuffed throughout the nest over the winter when it makes itself at home, the smell could deter it. It wouldn't bother EJ as osprey (I understand) do not smell.Meanwhile let's hope it takes the hint.

She has just flown - to the nest campost, I think.
EJ is being bothered by a very noisy corvid, as if pine martens weren't enough!
