BENTE, Congratulations & best wises on starting a new life. I am trying to find my way to the Tea Party forum to read your posts. I do not find that they make it easy for us to get back and forth between the various RSPB forums.
Found it BENTE and your post was well worth the effort. I Love hearing about various cultural customs. Sounds like a great wedding and you make a handsome couple. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hope you will join us regularly, as we are expecting an exciting and rewarding season at Loch Garten and our other nests.
Hello June,
I'm glad that you found my post. I'll certainly try to look in at Loch Garten now and then. With three eggs it will be an exciting year.
Willow do you have a chance to watch LG nest much?
I just read that Clarach (2013 daughter of Monty and Gesni at Dyfi) has been photographed on the Aberfoyle nest and is mating with the male there (who has been bringing fish and sticks to the nest). Aberfoyle have posted this briefly on The Lodge Forest Facebook page.
Kind regards, Ann
I just heard pretty much the same thing, Ann. Here is news direct from Facebook.
Meantime, whenever I look in at Loch Garten I find EJ alone, quiet or maybe chirping softly. She seems content just brooding her eggs, so I assume Odin is bringing in the necessary fish per day.
Just a few moments ago, EJ stood up, changed position, tended the eggs beneath her and settled back into place over them. All seems well at the LG nest.
EJ, just minutes ago, still contentedly brooding as usual.
It would be wonderful to have Blue 2R (Clarach) settle on Loch Ard.
Hello June. I do not watch the LG nest hardly because of my limited broadband! So I have to rely on all you good peoples posts and updates. For which I am very grateful :) I can very occasionally look in but not so often but is lovely to get a look at them live :)
