Was thinking about how much Brenda posted on the DYFI thread, especially last season where she liked to post her captures of Monty, Glesni and family, so thought it would be nice to dedicate the first thread starting off the new season to Brenda.
She along with Margo will be sadly missed from this forum, it is so sad that we have to start off with the loss of not one but two valued members.

I'm not sure precisely what you are looking for but could this be it?
Birdies LG DU update.
Mike, I think it was a video of Nora's very first attempt to feed her first chick. She stood on the edge of the nest and took tiny pieces of fish and went through the motions of feeding her chick but she was too far away from the chick to connect with it. She had several tries of going through the motions but not actually feeding it. I imagine that while it was amusing that it also caused some immediate consternation here and at the DOP but she soon worked it out and managed to actually feed her chick. I have seen it but unfortunately cannot remember if it was from a link on the Dyfi blog or a link posted on this forum. But since I was not following Ospreys when that event happened, I would have watched the video from someone's having posted it again in 2013, '14, '15 or last year.
Kind regards, Ann

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Here's a totally adorable video of Nora attempting to feed Monty about a fortnight before the 2011 chicks hatched. His face is a picture!
Yes, I found the Nora-trying-to-feed-Monty one :)
Last year I had to spend hours finding Blue33 on stilts, because I hadn't named it sensibly (I promptly renamed it!). I notice that a lot of us, including the 'professionals', don't, and nowadays I try to think "what search terms would I use to find this in a few years' time" but it's not easy, especially in the height of activities.

Brilliant, STARLNG !!!
I saw that video in the list but it never occurred to me to check thru it. See what I mean about naming? ;-)
Skip to 2m25s if you can't spare the whole 5+ minutes :) The part I treasure most is Nora practising where there isn't even an osplet, at the edge of the nest :-*
Thank You so much for finding the video Starling, I was beginning to wonder if I imagined it all :-)
It was wonderful to watch it all over again, and have to confess it brought me to tears, it is so lovely to watch this memorable moment again. It is the first thing that comes into my mind whenever I think of Nora.
Thanks to everyone else for looking for it too. :-)
