Was thinking about how much Brenda posted on the DYFI thread, especially last season where she liked to post her captures of Monty, Glesni and family, so thought it would be nice to dedicate the first thread starting off the new season to Brenda.
She along with Margo will be sadly missed from this forum, it is so sad that we have to start off with the loss of not one but two valued members.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Thanks, Sheila.
Kind regards, Ann

Very sad, but I'm so glad you chose to start these threads, MARY, in the way that you did.
(This post has been sitting unposted for many hours.)
IMAGICAT
Dyfi Blog for their camera appeal.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks Mike, what a great blog, so full of enthusiasm and excitement. Does Emyr know something we don't :-) "Einion" :-)
Mary, I imagine the mention of Einion is wishful thinking, but probably reflects the wishes of many!
Yes Ann I think it's great that DYFI have never given up hope of seeing Einion again, and you never know, as there have been others who have turned up after being back and had been breeding for years.
I hope some day that one of EJs is sighted as returning, I am pinning my hopes on Druie, and of course there is the three unringed brood from 2010 that we will never know if they ever came back, which I think is a possibility of at least one returning from that brood.
I'm delighted they've at least had Clarach return. I wonder who will be next?
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Unfortunatley I am really out of touch with Dyfi and am wondering if that other platform which B24 used last year was ever dismantled?
Karen if it hasn't it will be very very shortly.
Thanks Mike .. I really do hope it is dismantled. I felt so sorry for all the birds last year.
Hopefully B24 moves on this season and find herself a nest and a mate.
