HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I thought I would begin the new thread by honoring Margo, who passed on this past week. She was a much-loved member of our community, and she will be missed. Comfort and solace to Chris, her OH. Billie, Margo's beloved cat, was such a joy in her life, I thought these two happy kittens cuddled in the shape of a heart might be appropriate.

Have a good time, Lindy! I'm so glad Bonnie didn't sink her teeth into anything crucial.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
By the way Carnyx have sorted out the satellite link to the LG webcam and it's up and running! Woo Hoo!
Hooray!!!!!!!!
HAVE A GREAT TIME, LINDY!
Hey, Annette. The Russians will launch a Soyuz rocket to the ISS in a few minutes -- 9:58 p.m. your time. Watch here.
bjane: What a lovely story. I'm always intrigued to hear about those kinds of experiences.
Diane: I think I'm watching a recording, even though it says it's Live. Still, I'm only 45 or so minutes late!
Good afternoon, all. It's already really quiet without our chatty Lindy!
It has been a dry, windy morning here but it's coming over very grey.
Sunshine here! Off out this morning; back to chatter a bit later (though can't hope to compensate for the indefatigable Lindybird!).
OG just phoned and asked me to tell you all that she is now back in her local small hospital. She sounded tired after the upheaval but she said that everything was alright, there, so far. It is a very small unit with just eighteen beds. EE will not have to drive to the big hospital every day and OG will be able to be visited by some of her friends who live locally.
That's great news, Heather. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
